Craig is a 1988 graduate of Trinity High School and a 1992 graduate of Slippery Rock University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Planning. He is the Owner of Jewett Construction, a New Hampshire-based commercial construction company founded in 1972 by his father and mother, Edward and Arlene Jewett. Craig purchased Jewett Construction in 2003; under his leadership, the company has achieved significant growth, with yearly revenues consistently exceeding $80,000,000. Craig’s vision of providing a Single-Source Design-Build solution to clients has been at the forefront of his mission as Owner. Today, Jewett is widely considered one of the most sought-after and well-respected Design-Build Construction Companies in New England.

Craig’s love and commitment to the Granite State runs thick and is evident from his involvement and leadership in numerous community organizations. He is a proprietor of the esteemed Portsmouth Athenæum, a member of the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD) All-Star Football Finance Committee, and served as a long-term board member with the Regional Economic Development Center of Southern New Hampshire (REDC). It has always been important to Craig that he and his company support the local community and maintain its roots as a prominent business leader in New Hampshire.

When Craig is not working, you can find him spending time with his family. Craig is the proud father of two children and a devoted grandfather of two granddaughters. He regularly visits his daughter Ellie, her husband Caleb, and their daughter Eloise in Lynchburg, Virginia. Craig’s son Nick, who works at Jewett as an estimator, lives in Greenland with his wife Samantha and their daughter Adele who Craig adores.

Outside of work and family, Craig has a passion for preserving history and enjoying the natural beauty of the New Hampshire outdoors. He can be found hiking or studying, curating, and preserving pieces of Early American material culture in his spare time.
