Our scope of work entails construction 172,999 S.F of cannabis cultivation space over four separate floors. Work includes exterior improvements, grow spaces, offices, break room and locker rooms on the first floor. Grow spaces on the second and third floors. The turnkey mechanical systems, and turnkey electrical systems on the fourth floor. Jewett is taking additional precautions in regards to site safety and security as the Undisclosed facility will remain operational throughout the course of construction.
It also includes core and shell renovations for approximately 56,805 S.F. of combined cannabis processing applications including a state-of-the-art oils extraction lab. Work includes exterior improvements, louvered infill systems, and structural accommodations throughout the space. Jewett is taking additional precautions to minimize disruption to adjacent tenant spaces that are occupied throughout the course of construction. Additionally, something very unique to this job is that Jewett is renovating a 70 + year old mill building, historically known for poor air quality and ventilation to be a cleanroom environment.
All areas of work are scheduled to receive new electrical distribution, lighting, and control systems. New heating/cooling/ventilation/plumbing and fire protection systems will also be upgraded throughout the facility.
