This 26,000 sf ground-up Honda dealership in Salem, NH, the second half of a dual dealership project built for Rockingham Motors, was constructed simultaneously and on the same lot with the recently completed 33,000 sf Rockingham Toyota.

The new dealership features a 10,000 sf showroom and air-conditioned 16,000 sf service garage that includes 19 service bays and 12 lifts, as well as high-speed air-operated, glass overhead doors. The facility incorporates Honda’s latest corporate image program throughout the interior of the showroom, customer lounge, service write-up area, tech room and break room.

Exterior features include ACM, EIFS, the iconic blue Honda tower, and a landscape design that includes vehicle display pads at the front of the building as well as multiple roadside rain gardens—one of a number of “green” elements incorporated into the new facility. Other eco-friendly features include radiant heat in the salesroom floor and an elaborate underground water infiltration system able to contain tens of thousands of gallons of rain water run-off to minimize the impact on the municipal systems.
