The 4,500 SF facility is designed to house the Academy’s administrative staff as well as a large pro shop for display and sale of SIG SAUER firearms and accessories.
The project included construction of a single story metal building designed for energy efficiency with such features as insulated metal panel siding, a high reflective-value metal roof, an exterior insulation finish system (EIFS), insulated low-e windows, and energy efficient mechanical equipment.
This marks just the latest of many projects in a long-standing working relationship between SIG SAUER and Jewett; their premier contractor since 2003. Other projects completed for the company include a new quality control Room, exterior renovation to SIG SAUER Academy, office and warehouse renovations, mezzanine rooms and walkway renovation, a warehouse addition, and firing range expansion.
