Gengras Motor Cars & Jewett Construction, A Budding Relationship 

FREMONT, N.H. - It is no secret that Jewett Construction has become synonymous with Automobile dealership construction. Jewett Construction is a family-owned Design-Build Construction Management firm out of Fremont, New Hampshire.  For more than 50 years Jewett has been the go-to resource in New England for automobile dealership construction with projects ranging from simple additions to ground-up construction of car dealerships and service centers. To date, Jewett Construction has completed more than 200 Automotive Dealership projects throughout New England

In late October of 2022 Jewett teamed up with Gengras Motor Cars to renovate their Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Volkswagen dealerships in East Hartford, Connecticut. The Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram facility finished its fully occupied renovation without disturbing Gengras’ ability to execute sales was recently completed in January of 2023. The 17,000 square foot interior renovation included updates to the Showroom, Service Area, and Customer Lounge Area. The updated space provides a completely new experience to their customers. They took the same approach with Gengras Motor Cars Volkswagen renovation which is currently underway and scheduled to be completed by the end of March.

This is not the first time Jewett has partnered with Gengras Motor Cars on a dealership project. In 2020 Jewett completed construction on a state-of-the-art ground-up Honda Generation 3 building for Gengras Upper Valley Honda. That dealership sits on 4.74 acres of land which officially relocated the dealer location from New Hampshire to Vermont. The client has been so impressed with Jewett’s work over the years that they have signed on for three additional construction projects with Jewett for three of their other major automotive brands.
